Kyoto Style Sushi Making
In this workshop, first you will learn the history and cultural background of sushi. Then taste different types of vinegar and fresh wasabi which are the important elements for sushi.
After that, you will enjoy making your own Kyoto style sushi (Chirashi-zushi and Oshi-zushi).

About the workshop
It’s a small group session and it will be guided in Japanese or English. You will make Chirashi-zushi and Oshi-zushi.
-Chiashi-zushi…seasoned rice with various ingredients on top such as prawn and thin sliced egg. All ingredients are cooked. Easy to make even for small children. Can be vegetarian or gluten free.
-Oshi-zushi…pressed sushi of sushi rice with row fish. Traditional Kyoto style sushi. Can be gluten free.
